Com a entrada em 2022 chega-nos uma enorme lista de lançamentos de novos títulos que prometem fazer deste ano um período épico para o mundo do gaming. Embora muitos destes videojogos já estivessem previstos para 2021, a pandemia fez atrasar o seu desenvolvimento, aumentando a expetativa para o ano de 2022.
Para além de muitos jogos indie, e de grandes lançamentos AAA originais, encontramos nesta lista as sequelas para alguns dos jogos mais elogiados da última década, como Horizon Zero Dawn, God of War e Gran Turismo.
Hollow Knight e Breath of the Wild também podem vir a receber continuação este ano, embora em virtude dos atrasos anteriores, estas datas de lançamento podem vir a ser adiadas para 2023.
Por fim, ainda há espaço para alguns títulos originais vindos de criadores reconhecidos, como Elden Ring, de George R.R. Martin (Game of Thrones), Forspoken, de Amy Henig (Uncharted), e da saga espacial Starfield, um jogo que já está planeado na Bethesda há quase 25 anos.
